Our urgent needs right now are for adult road bikes, bike locks, and bike lights.
On Tuesday, April 25th get ready for a jolly good Raleigh bike ride from Five Points to the Colony Theatre to watch a screening of the doc "Kilowatt Ours" ( www.kilowattours.org or nc.sierraclub.org for more info on the film). A Q&A will follow the doc from SURGE's Dennis Markatos-Soriano!

Cyclists will attend for FREE! Others will be asked to give a $5 donation.

We will meet in front of Hayes Barton Baptist Church at Five Points (corner of Whitaker Mill and Glenwood) at 6pm. Map: [ Google ] We will depart at approx. 6:30pm. Ride approx 5 miles (thirty minute ride) to Colony. Bike route below.

This will be a fun, moderately paced ride. We will obey traffic laws. We will ride as a group. If you've never participated in Critical Mass or similar bike rides, don't be discouraged. This ride will be safe for ALL.

Sponsors of the bike ride and film screening include Capital Sierra Club, SURGE, 1304 Bikes, Critical Mass, ACRe, Traction, Raleigh Fight Big Media, Raleigh Adbusters, and others.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW.

If you have any questions please contact me via email or at the Colony (847.5677).
