OUR WORKSHOP IS BEING SHUT DOWN BY THE CITY DUE TO ZONING ISSUES.

Currently, we cannot accept donations of any bikes;
however, monetary donations are sorely needed
to help offset our upcoming expenses.

We will be open a bit early on Sunday, June 28 at noon. If you are working on a bike in our Earn-a-Bike program, please be prepared to find the parts you need to complete it and take it home with you on Sunday or contact us to make other arrangements.

Donations of bicycles may be made to the Durham Bike Co-op or the one in Carrboro.

The 1304Bikes weblog contains more details.

Join 1304 Bikes on our ride toward a cleaner and healthier city. Through our programs, we have made dozens of donated bicycles road-ready again for the community, focusing on the bicycle as a human-powered transportation mode for children and working folks. By volunteering, many people have earned a refurbished discarded or damaged bicycle in our shop, or fixed their own bike.

Where: The back/basement (see the 1304bikes sign in the window) of the brick duplex at the corner of Mayview Rd. andChamberlain St. in Raleigh, near Jaycee Park and the Cameron Village Shopping center.

Maps: [ Google ] [ Mapquest ] [ Yahoo ]

When: Usually Sundays 1PM to 5PM and Thursdays 6PM to 9PM. See our Calendar or News pages to see if we are closed on any particular day.

Get involved if you want to fix a bike for yourself or volunteer to help others get a bike or help us get organized. We gladly accept any bikes, bike parts or tools. Donations are tax-deductible. If you like to lend a hand turning wrenches, please familiarize yourself with our Earn-A-Bike program and simple shop guidelines and come on by to match up kids and bikes or otherwise help out. See our News page for specifics.
